WanderNest began in 2014 with one houseboat, one driver and a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is gone. The obsession with detail is not.
Our philosophy is simple: a good itinerary has gaps in it.
Most agencies sell density — six cities in seven days, every hour accounted for. We think the opposite is what people remember: an unhurried breakfast, a market you found by accident, an afternoon spent doing nothing on a deck.
So we plan around fewer bases and longer stays. We visit the properties we recommend and drop the ones that slip. We book guides and boat crews directly and pay them fairly. And we keep a named designer on every file, so the person who planned your trip is the person who knows it when you call.
Since 2014 that approach has sent travellers from Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi and Pune to forty-six countries and territories — most of them more than once.
